Between the Roman governor and Jewish High Priests the Zealots failed.   But the priests decide that non-Jews cannot give offerings in the temple which sets a war against Rome.  The Zealots have some power and thousands are killed, and King Agrippa's castle  as well as the Hight Priests temple are burned  down and the High Priest is killed.
The Governor of Syria  fails to gain control  but returns with more power.  Nero appoints Vespasian who with 18,000 men besieged Galalee and it falls in 47 days.  Here it seems to get interesting! (my quote)  Josephus is captured, but requests a meeting with Vespasian.  Josephus, being a Jew and aware of the prophecy,   tells Vespasian he was sent by God to tell him he (Vespasian ) was master of all land and see. Knowing Ceaser is still emperor  he tells him of the prophecy in Numbers 24:17
(even though he is not from the Line of David)  and that he will be emperor.
Nero is murdered, and after a couple of failures at emperor, Vepasian is claimed as emperor by his army.  He lifts the seige against Jerusalem since Egypt is in his eye.  His friend Tiberius Alexander is the precept and upon receiving  the letter declares his allegiance to Vepasian .  Tiberius is appointed Chief of staff and between the two there are stories of Vespasian healing people.  Vespasium has won the war,  and destroyed Jerusalem and knowing he is not of the line of David, he sets out to destroy the descendants of David to ensure his position,   but as history tells us some escaped.
Next  mystery of Mary and Joseph fleeing Bethlehem to escape Herod.  Can the dates be a little off?
John's gospel has some precise dating. The first Passover following  Jesus's baptism is that of A.D. 28.(John 2:13-20)   John mentions 2 more passovers of which the third sees the crucifixion which must have occured which must have occured before the Passover of A.D. 30.
We knew Christ had been executed during the reign of Tiberius and Pilate was perfect of Judea during A.D.26- A.D. 36.  The Gospel of Luke 3:1, 23 states Jesus was about 30 at the time of his baptism.  So how can the execution be A.D. 27?   The wedding of Herod and Herodias was outlawed by Jewish law, but the wedding took place in A.D. 35 after which John was executed so Jesus was still alive at this time and it must have been the Passover of A.D. 36
Jerusalem was being besieged by legions of Titus and many soldiers amused themselves with torturning victims.  In A.D. 70 as the prophecy of Isaiah predicted the Temple was destroyed and Jerusalem was besieged and destroyed. Tens of thousands of Jews were killed.
In the town of Jabneh, a Pharasee who escaped began the school and rabbinical Judaism was born.  They revived the halakkah comprising the law handed to Moses on Mount Sinai.
Tunnels were built under stone platforms so they could hear the Romans  talking a few feet away. When the tunnels were discovered the Romans they filled the cisterns with stones and following the tunnels blocked the entrance and sealed it permanently destroying the fighters inside.
The field was ripe for the Jesus of Faith  to take over the the Jesus of history.
A man of God, who spoke of God, who expressed a divine message but did not claim to be God.
