Dead Sea Scrolls PDF Print E-mail
Most of us will remember the story of the shepherd boy throwing a rock in the cave to scare out his goats but instead heard the shattering of pottery and discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls.

A mystery appears as to the number of scrolls found and perhaps some were held back. It seems one found its way to a CIA in Damascus. He unrolls the scripts and with the wind blowing pieces away takes many pictures and sends them off to the CIA in Beirut and they vanish. He was unsure what the scrolls were about.

Dead Sea Scrolls provide original writings from the Zealots. The Zealots lived for the day a messiah would emerge and help them conquer the Romans and their puppet kings. They actually in wait for two, the high priest and king from the line of David or the future Messiahs of Aaron and Israel.

According to his heritage, Jesus was of the Line of David through his father, and through his mother the Line of Aaron so was he a double Messiah?? If so he would have been expected to lead the Zealots to victory. Zechariah in the Old Testement had spoken of the arrival of a king on a donkey so did Jesus feel it was necessary to do this? If so to fulfill the prophecy for what reason? Public acceptance? Chosing his path? He had now been recognized as the King of the line of David.
Custodians of the orthodox story are trying to keep some of the information private so as to not disrupt the belief in the gospels. All these happenings should have placed him in history as the leader of the Jewish nation... but what went wrong??
