Little Angel with one wing |

I Have to tell you this story to me has some meaning for me, because I have two angel figures with wings broken off. One has lost both wings, and one has lost one wing. I am going to put the 2 wings back on the one angel tonight, but so far I cannot find the lost wing. I could not throw the angels out because I wonder how many times, my "wings" have been renewed by God for another chance at making something right! So here is the story from May You Always Have an Angel by Your side. The Author Ruth, saw the ceramic angel and noticed the enchanting smile but when she moved closer she saw it only had one wing. She was in the reduced section and carried a red apple in one hand and golden schoolbooks in the other. So the little angel came home with her and she thought how all of us lose one wing of hope. When visitors asked what happened they often made up a story about the missing wing. She might have loaned it to another angel, or lost it during a snowstorm. One day two little girls came to visit and admire the angel and it dropped as they tried to handle it to each other and the other wing broke off. Her husband immediately went to get his glue and glued the wing back on, and commented it was too bad the other wing wasn't around as well. If the first and best hope may be gone from our lives surely there is one remaining wing of hope so life's dreams may be repaired. Ruth I
